Business card translation
A card translated into Japanese is essential when doing business in Japan. If you are planning a work trip to Japan, we can design, translate and print your Japanese business cards.
In Japan, it is common to use a bilingual card with English on one side and the same information in Japanese on the other. This allows you to choose which language to present to the recipient (always with two hands and a small bow). If there isn’t too much information, it’s also possible to have everything on one side.
We can create Japanese business cards in a variety of formats ready to send to the printer, such as pdf, Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator files. Depending on your needs, we can also arrange printing and check proofs.
Ideally, in order to translate and typeset your bilingual card, we require an English version in digital form. If you can, please provide electronic versions of your logo or other artwork.
Please contact us for a quote and we will get back to you quickly.
How to use your business card in Japan
Business cards aren’t used quite the same way in Japan as they are in the UK. For details, please see our blog post on business card etiquette.
