Japanese business cards

If you are doing any face-to-face business in Japan, a translated business card is absolutely essential. Get plenty printed because you are bound to need more than you expect. We provide translation, design and printing of Japanese business cards.

It is common in Japan to use a bilingual card with English on one side and the same information in Japanese on the other. That way you can choose which side to present (always with two hands and a small bow) depending on the recipient. If there isn’t too much information it’s also possible to have everything on one side.

We can create cards in a variety of formats ready to send to the printer, such as pdf, Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator files. If necessary, we can also arrange printing for you and check proofs.

In order to translate and typeset your bilingual card, ideally we need the English version in digital form. Please provide electronic versions of your logo or other artwork on the card.

Translation: £40
Layout: £25 per hour (a typical card will take two hours)
Printing and checking of proofs: The price will depend on the quality of paper, number of colours etc. Please contact us for a quote if you wish us to handle the printing.
